Sherri is a classically trained pianist
with a strong background in
accompanying, improvisation, and
contemporary styles, including jazz,
ragtime, pop and praise and worship.
Her unique style of songwriting
incorporates a blend of her many
musical influences. Skillfully entangling
witty lyrics, aggressive piano riffs and
dynamic vocals into each song, she
works to bring every listener to a place
of heightened aural enjoyment and
serenity.
Sherri resides in Los Angeles, CA. She is
hired for original music, performed
solo, with or without vocals, or as a
trio (piano/bass/drums). Settings
include featured performer or ambient.

Sherri currently has two albums, Give
Me the Keys (2005) and No Small Thing
(2007). Both are acoustic works that
feature piano and voice. All music is
composed and performed by Sherri,
unless otherwise stated.

Sherri teaches full time as a piano
instructor. She incorporates music
reading, theory, composition,
technique and artistry in all lessons.
Students study pieces by composers
from all music history periods, including
contemporary. In addition they
develop important skills found in
practicing scales, arpeggios, and other
exercises. Students benefit from
frequent recitals and an annual judged
piano event, called Federation. Sherri
teaches at two locations: Piano Expo,
